My well established client based in Gravesend is looking Sales / Accounts Assistant.

Working hour will be: 8am – 5pm

Duties Included but not limited to:

• Entering stock onto sage, checking if any variation from previous purchase price
• Matching invoices to delivery / advice notes
• Checking prices match on invoice / advice note and random checks in Sage
• Entering purchase invoices onto Sage
• Producing sales invoices and checking adequate profit margins have been achieved
• Checking off monthly statements
• Raising cheques and entering in Sage
• Entering payments received on Sage
• Dealing with queries on invoices and tracking credit notes have been received
• Taking customers order – a knowledge of construction materials would be an advantage or if you don’t have previous knowledge to take an interest in the products.
• Bank reconciliation

Other duties that will be an addition:
• Being first port of call for all telephone enquiries
• Archiving documents
• Putting stock away in the warehouse
• General office duties


For this role previous knowledge of Sage is a MUST and to be able to fulfil job requirements with out training.

Knowledge of construction background is an advantage
