We are searching for an experienced Paraplanner on behalf of an established and professional Chartered IFA practice in the area, where quality, integrity and relationships are key and at the heart of its approach to advising both individual and corporate clients.

This progressive firm of Advisers is looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, committed to providing quality advice to clients accompanied by a high level of service. Professionalism combined with excellent written and verbal presentation skills is essential.

Whilst we are ideally looking for a Senior, our client is also happy to receive CVs from less experienced Paraplanners, perhaps looking for that next step.

The Position:
This Senior Paraplanner opportunity will involve full technical support to the Directors of the company. The mainstay of the role after agreeing a strategy with the Advisor will include product research, investment fund analysis and the preparation of a full and comprehensive financial report. You will be expected to assist the Directors with the preparation of client meetings, emails, letters and paperwork as part of the advice process. You will need to handle client queries and service existing clients on a daily basis, as well as carrying out in depth reviews of client portfolios. You must be organised with a good all round knowledge of financial planning, an eye for detail and a continued commitment towards personal development within your own role.

Qualifications and Experience we are seeking:
The ideal applicant must be at least Diploma qualified with previous report writing experience within an IFA firm.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to cope well within a busy working environment are essential. You will have a professional and ethical approach to all aspects of your work and will be able to demonstrate a sound technical knowledge that can be applied to all areas of financial planning. It will be advantageous to hold advanced level qualifications in investments and pensions. Additional training can be providing for specialist areas, if required.
