We are looking for a trainer/facilitator who is has the skills to be comfortable delivering leadership/management development workshops in all areas of our business.
The L & D officer is a new full-time role as part of the HR & Organisation Development team created to assist the delivery of a range of learning and development solutions. Those solutions will cover a wide range of initiatives including talent management, leadership and management development, performance management and employee engagement.
This is a new role, in a new team with a new programme of work – it needs the right person with the right work ethic to ensure we deliver against a busy plan.
Reporting to the Organisation Development Specialist, you will be organised, comfortable presenting to people and know how to engage with and influence others. You will have previous experience of training & facilitation as well as liaising with and sourcing training services from outside providers.
You will be intellectually curious and will take every opportunity – formal or otherwise, to help individuals and/or teams be more effective.
We need someone who is resilient, open to change and has an ability to adapt their training style to get the best from our people and results for the business.
As well as playing a part in delivering new courses and development programmes, you will also have an opportunity to champion the introduction of e-Learning to the business in a simple, easily accessed way.
We are excited about the potential career paths for our people and you will play a part in the process of this from the creation and implementation of an apprentice programme through to the development of our leaders.
You will need to align with our values – show us you care about colleagues, customers and the communities we operate in, are trustworthy with a high degree of integrity and proud of the work that you do.
You also need to have a good sense of humour – we are serious about our work, not about ourselves.
