Accountancy practice in Medway looking to recruit an administration assistant to fulfil the role of
Client liaison
• Answering phones
• Meet and greet clients
• Making tea & coffee
Internal matters
• Company secretarial duties
• Sorting post
• Ordering and storing stationary
• Requesting client books and records, checking and booking them in, contacting clients for missing information and updating planning sheets
• Returning client records
• Preparing WIP reports, fee summaries and raising sales and other invoices as required
• Issuing statements and monitoring trade debtors
• Preparing standard letters for clients on manager instructions, eg tax liabilities etc.
• All internal filing
• General photocopying
• Maintaining client lists in office contacts
• Preparing engagement letters
• Other administration duties as required
Experience/Qualities required
• Good telephone manner
• Good inter-personal skills are essentials as will involve front of house relations
• Good Excel and Word skills are essentials as the role will involve both of these packages
• Good organisational skills to co-ordinate and prioritise work
• Basic Sage experience is preferable
• A good command of spoken and written English is essential
• A desire to learn additional skills and develop knowledge base.
