Our clients Business Insights team are responsible for supporting the business in delivering it's budget and they understand day to day trading performance can accurately communicate this.

The Opportunity
They are now looking for a candidate to partner with their commercial team in delivering insightful data. The role will involve:-

-Day to day management of a small team of analysts and reporting into
a lead commercial analyst.

- Analysis of day to day trading performance.

- Product reviews in respects of how price and availability changes
impact trading.

- Commercial support in contractual negotiations
- Data mining to identify potential commercial opportunities
- Product testing
- Day to day line management responsibilities

The data is vast and ever changing which provides opportunities to continually challenge the way things are done.

Is this You?
You will have an analytical mind and be confident in challenging the norm. Vast amounts of data do not phase you as you're confident using excel and other tools to manipulate, generate and interpret results.

With strong communication skills and an emphasis on visualisation, you take pride in the delivery of your analysis.

You are able to quickly build a rapport with your team and key business stakeholders.

Must Haves:
● Proven analytical experience
● High levels of numeracy
● Strong knowledge of Excel, data modelling and forecasting
● Management experience
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:
● Ability to write freehand SQL
● Commercial support background
