CNC Wood Machinist and carpenters/joiners required for busy workshop in Gravesend, Kent where we produce components for exhibition stands for installation throughout Europe.
We operate a 3 axis Tekcel CNC machine and sliding table dimension saw working predominantly with mdf within our machine shop and the successful candidate would be responsible for the operation of both, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the overall area and adhering to best practice at all times.
Full training will be given, however some experience in machining although not required would be an advantage and a certain level of practical carpentry knowledge is essential.
The role is 100% located within the workshop. Core hours are 8am to 3.30pm Mon to Fri with a lunch break from 1pm to 1.30pm, however overtime is frequently required and usual hours Jan - June, and Sept - Nov are more likely 8am - 5.30pm weekdays and 8am - 3pm on a Saturday. The upper hourly rate starts after 40 hrs, and includes all weekend hours.
As a guide only average annual earnings are approx +£30k
