We are searching for a dynamic, experienced Design Engineer to coordinate a team of 3 engineers in Thanet.
As a design engineer, you will have a proven track record in designing bespoke models and 3D solid modelling, ideally within a manufacturing environment. You should be educated to ONC/HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and have a working knowledge of 2D and 3D AutoCAD.
This is a “hands on” role that will involve liaising with clients on key accounts. You must have excellent listening skills to understand the client’s needs as well as the ability to design and create the bespoke end product. You should have some cost awareness and be able to liaise with many people, not only your team, but clients, other departments and suppliers alike.
We are looking for a dynamic personality with the ability to enthuse and inspire the clients with their product design.
This is a great opportunity, working Monday to Thursday, with a half day each Friday. Due to the location of the client, it is very important that candidates have access to their own vehicle. Parking is provided as is the option of company pension after a qualifying period.
