Our client, an award winning business are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join after a period of expansion.
The main purpose of the role is to control the branch accounts dealing with all the ledgers, duties will include:
• Providing accounting support
• Reconciling finance accounts
• Maintaining spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
• Controlling credit
• Working with sales and purchase ledgers (Sage Line 50)
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Previous experience of working in a similar role
Part or full qualified AAT Qualification an advantage but not essential as time to study and train towards an accountancy or lettings qualification will be considered
Ability to work under pressure and prioritising your own workload
Good IT skills you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Due to the high levels of applications we are experiencing at the moment we are unable to respond to unsuccessful candidates, if you have not had a response within 1 week of applying regretfully you have not been unsuccessful
