Select Gaming is a family owned and run amusement machine operator that has grown rapidly in the UK to now operate in excess of 5000 machines (fruits machines, quiz machines, pool tables and juke boxes). Our business is focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
We are now seeking an exceptional candidate to assist in the planning of machine movements across the country. This involves both the logistical planning of assets to sites as well as machine model selection based on our customer’s stringent criteria.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Planning our daily vehicle routes for both 3.5t and 10t delivery vehicles.
• Machine model selection based on pre-determined customer criteria.
• Adhering to strict deadlines, change rates and customer KPIs.
• Maintaining efficient stock levels and asset utilisation.
• Ensuring all legislative requirements in relation to our HGVs are fulfilled.
• Maintaining accurate records of all movements both planned and historical.
The successful candidate will be extremely organised, logical and methodical in carrying out their work, fully computer literate (in particular MS Excel), hard-working and be able to consistently meet deadlines and customer requirements. Experience of logistics / geography of the South East is beneficial. Academically, ‘A’ levels are a minimum requirement although a degree is preferred. Full training will be provided and a successful applicant will initially work alongside an experienced Operations Manager. This position would ideally suit a graduate or school leaver.
