Leeds Castle, (near Maidstone, Kent) is a popular, prestigious venue for conferences, weddings and functions, as well as welcoming 600,000 day visitors each year. We have a range of catering outlets and restaurants which offer everything from sandwiches and snacks, breakfast and evening meal for our B&B visitors through to five star dining for wedding and conference guests.

Working in collaboration with our catering partners Levy (who are part of the prestigious, Compass Group), we are currently recruiting an experienced Pastry Chef to work as part of the kitchen brigade but with specific responsibility to lead the Pastry section.

The person appointed will have a passion for baking and presenting, including our day visitor cake table and home-made products, and traditional afternoon tea.

To succeed in this positon you will need to be an experienced Pastry Chef with very high standards of presentation and menu engineering. You will need passion for developing the product and the ability to work well in a team. You will need to be well organised to ensure that menus are planned and costed with good attention to detail to meet strict Health and Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
