This Software Test Engineer will be a member of a highly skilled team building cutting edge art AV and automation products. The ideal candidate thrives working with motivated teams building hi-tech hardware and software systems. They are a quick learner, are equally comfortable analysing written product requirements or writing automated tests. You need to balance creativity, determination and cooperative team work. You will be participating in both early technology research and product development as well as actively contributing your knowledge of modern software development techniques and technology on diverse platforms and architectures. You will be working with a wide variety of hardware and software building automated and bench tests and systems.
Qualified Candidates will have:
Experience in several common scripting and compiled programming languages
Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating system
Experience writing automated white-box tests or unit tests
First Degree Level (or equivalent) qualification in either software or other relevant subject
Minimum of 2 years programming experience gained in an engineering environment
Good communication skills and the ability to work co-operatively in a team environment
Strong attention to details, highly organised, computer literate
The ability to work to a project plan, tracking progress, identifying risks, anticipating delays and communicating such to the project leader
Is prepared to travel internationally
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Linux operating system
