TAKE HOME & SETTLE SERVICE
Relief Staff required
On-Call basic daily shift rate £52.13 plus £10.71 per hour for hours worked
Do you enjoy the company of older people? Are you reliable, flexible, and able to work on your own initiative? If so, come and join the Take Home and Settle Team.
Working closely with the A&E team at Pembury hospital, you will collect older people being discharged from the hospital and take them home, ensuring they are safely and comfortably settled in before leaving.
We are looking for staff to be on-call 1pm- 8pm Monday to Sunday and to provide some back-up cover for sickness. The service will run through to October 2015 with a possiblility of extending, subject to funding. Working hours can be flexible to meet your needs.
The role will require you to work on-call from home but live within 45 minutes of Pembury hospital. Successful applicants must be caring and have experience of working with older people. You must also be computer literate, and have internet connection, be a car driver with access to a reliable car. Business mileage expenses will be paid.
