Wilmoths Crayford Citroen are looking for a vibrant individual to join their team as an Apprentice Parts Advisor.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an apprenticeship within Wilmoths Crayford Citroen
As a Parts Advisor Apprentice, you will enjoy working in a small team and need to be very well organised, have a good attention to detail and be able to cope in a fast moving environment. The Parts department is at the heart of every dealership and provides a key role in making Wilmoths Crayford Citroen successful through logistical excellence. Managing a computer ordering system and being confident with detailed information and figures will be important. Even though you won't be fitting parts yourself, a technical interest is essential as an understanding of what you are selling and supplying is one of the keys to success. Communicating clearly with internal and external customers and building a rapport will be expected.

The Apprentice Programme will help you grow your knowledge of the Citroen Parts business as well as helping you to develop a wide range of interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, you will learn how to identify part numbers, order & manage stock, advise customers as to how they can add accessories to their vehicles, and work in conjunction with the Sales and Service departments to ensure an efficient flow.

Main Tasks
•Advising your customers on vehicle parts, components and accessories
•Taking orders for the parts required by your colleagues
•Controlling and organising the storage of large amounts of stock
•Finding parts and components when they are ordered
•Ordering fresh stock, when required from suppliers
Skills Required
•Well organised
•Skilled with Information Technology
•Excellent communication skills
•Understand basic mechanical and electrical principles
Entry Requirements
3 GCSEs at C or above, in Maths and English
These qualifications will give you the ability to be able to go on and develop the other specific knowledge and skills you need in today’s retail motor industry.

General:
During your time on the apprenticeship programme you will be:
•Employed by a franchised dealership
•Trained at one of our dedicated training facilities
•Work towards a Level 2 National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and Technical Certificate in your chosen specialism
•At the completion of the level 2 you will progress on to a Level 3 National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and Technical Certificate in your chosen specialism
•Functional Skills in Maths, English & ICT at Level 2
•Awarded a 'Certificate of Apprenticeship' on completion of the framework
•Continue your learning to gain higher accreditation
