Infrastructure Consultant – MS Hyper-V, MS Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory - Up to £45,000 DOE Plus Overtime and Benefits.

The Infrastructure Consultant is a senior-level technical role within the organisation reporting directly to the Head of Technical Services. You will work closely with other Consultants and Engineers in the Infrastructure and Service Delivery Teams. You will act as the technical lead on customer engagements, providing solution design, build and support across our growing customer base primarily in Kent and London.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable infrastructure solution design, build and support experience, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and solid project management capabilities. Candidates should have had previous experience in a service provider or corporate environment.

The Infrastructure Consultant role is based primarily at the Head Office in Sittingbourne, but also will incorporate on-site working at customer premises as required; a full driving license, your own transportation, and a willingness to travel are therefore prerequisites.

Expert level knowledge and practical experience in the design, build and support of the following technologies is essential:

Microsoft Desktop and Server operating systems
Virtualisation platforms including Microsoft Hyper-V
Exchange Server and associated e-mail protocols
Active Directory, DFS, Security, GPO, Scripting, Powershell
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
Storage including SAN, NAS, SCSI, iSCSI and Fibre Channel
Candidate will have industry recognised qualifications such as MCSE, MCP, MCITP…etc.

The Infrastructure Consultant role may require extended or unsocial hours, occasionally at short notice. There is the potential to augment the basic salary with overtime payments.
