You will be responsible for sourcing, developing and managing new business opportunities across all relevant products for a leading consumer portfolio including print, digital, events etc. Working direct with clients/agencies from lead generation and pitch to delivery.

You will be proactive, creative, technologically aware, organised, commercially focused, an idea generator, determined, personable, able to demonstrate good written and verbal skills, a quick learner and willing to take on new challenges, with the ability to inspire.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the proactive selling of new business in line with revenue and volume targets
• Regaining of historic lost clients
• Build strong relationships with clients who don’t currently advertise in any of the brands in any capacity
• Actively source new clients
• Work with the magazine editorial teams, advertising teams and content hub
• Meet clients regularly to establish pro-active working relationships
• Consider all channels of multi-platform sponsorship/ads revenue generation: on-page, online and other brand extensions
• Negotiate good deals based on longevity and sustainability
• Ensure that any deal pitched and won is then successfully delivered by communicating with all relevant colleagues, be they in editorial, advertising, content hub or production
• Attend brand meetings when required, providing feedback on clients and offering ideas for content initiatives
• Sell and deliver revenue achieving targets on brand extensions notably a number of one shots to be launched within the magazine portfolio

It is essential that you have previous experience within media sales

Own transport is essential
