Assistant Chef
• 15 hours per week worked weekends
• 3 month fixed term contract July - September
• Pay £7.97 - £8.77 per hour dependant on experience

This role is required to join the Farm Shop & Café team for weekend cover on a fixed term basis for cover over the busy summer period. The role is for weekends but there may be opportunities for additional week day working if available.

The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Chef with the day to day operations of the farm shop and kitchen, preparing and cooking food for the farm shop café and products to be sold in the farm shop. As part of a team there may be other duties required such as daily kitchen tasks, helping in the shop and service area when needed.

A catering qualification and a food hygiene certificate are essential as are customer service skills and the ability to produce good quality home cooked food.
