Our head office is in Aldington, near Ashford. We also have offices in London and Boston, USA.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant for a 12 month contract working 30 hours a week to cover maternity leave. Working as part of a small accounts team within our head office, you will be responsible for assisting with many aspects of the accounts for our UK and US operations.
Responsibilities will include raising invoices and emailing to clients, compiling sales commission sheets, assist with preparation of payroll, assist with month end checks and production of reports that are used to produce management accounts, liaise with various suppliers to negotiate renewal of contracts, banking and dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, making travel arrangements for directors and sales staff, maintaining efficient organisation of all paperwork.
Skills Required
Experience of working in a busy accounts environment
Ability to juggle a number of daily/weekly tasks and meet deadlines
Good organisational skills
Intermediate Excel capability
Attention to detail
Experience with using Sage accounting systems
Start Date
Mid/Late-July
