This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right skills to get involved in a demanding kitchen. Working within our residential unit in Herne Bay, you will ensure that Nutritional food is served to our residents and staff.

You will be working with raw ingredients and have knowledge of food/nutrition to prepare and cook nutritional food to a high standard at agreed meal times.

You should be able to multi task to a highly efficient standard, be able to communicate with residents and staff at all levels whilst providing special dietary requirements where necessary, whilst taking into account individual Clients needs and preferences.

Vital to the position is the ability to maintain professional standards for a clean and healthy workplace and the ability to prepare and provide well presented and nutritious meals set according to daily Menu.

Previous experience within a busy kitchen environment is essential
Basic Food Hygiene, Level 2 Catering is Desirable
