It’s a very exciting time to be joining my client. They have recently carved out the marketing and BD function so it now operates across all our services and sectors and is responsible for driving our sales and marketing initiatives out through both of them.
This new function is targeted heavily on successfully generating new business through business development activities as well as maintaining and raising the profile of my client via innovative marketing campaigns.
Role Description:-
My client are championing the use of new technology as the basis of our strategy for expansion and growth. As part of the BD and marketing team you will have the following responsibilities:
•To be active in the market winning new business for using both the USP created by our Xero & Crunchboards proposition as well as traditional BD and marketing channels (inc. social media, networking, campaigns etc)
•Helping manage & implement the strategy for transferring existing clients on to the new technology platforms (Crunchboards and Xero)
•Be the point of contact for the team and clients connected with Xero and Crunchboards-
•Provide training to the team and clients where required
•Be confident to "sell" the benefits of using Xero and Crunchboards
Person Specification:-
Excellent understanding of marketing and business development processes
•Excellent knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
•Excellent PC skills
•Either AAT/CAT qualified or part qualified ACCA/ACA
•Strong bookkeeping skills and knowledge of Sage/Quickbooks and or Xero
•Relevant marketing or sales qualification, such as the CIM or equivalent
•Able to prepare financial forecasts/projections
A 2.1 at degree level from a reputable institution, or equivalent. A proven track record in a professional environment will be considered as an alternative to degree level qualification
