Ethelbert Children's Services are seeking a caring and motivated individual who can lead a team of Residential Workers to achieve the best outcomes for the young people within our care. The successful applicant needs to be committed to the role and have significant experience in working with and understanding young people in a residential childcare setting.
The successful candidate will have a firm foundation and relevant experience in childcare and hold or be willing to obtain the following qualifications:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care in Children and Young people or equivalent;
At least two years relevant residential care experience within the past 5 years;
At least one years experience in a supervisory and management position;
Excellent knowledge and experience of supporting children who are looked after.
A sound knowledge and working understanding of the Quality Standards, Children's Homes Regulations and the Ofsted Inspection process;
Strong motivational and leadership skills.
The position offered is at one of the company's homes caring for up to three boys aged between 9 - 16 years old.
Comprehensive support is offered by a large group of dedicated professionals along with an excellent training programme and prospects for on-going career development.
