Chalkwell Bus and Coach Ltd is an important division of a family run business that has served the public for over 80 years and is committed to providing a professional service with the personal touch.
If you are looking for a new challenge, no shift work and can lead from the front then you are the person we are looking for.
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman. This is a multi-tasked role, the duties of the successful applicant would be wide ranging and include the following:
• Ability to provide leadership and motivation to all staff on a day-to-day basis on the workshop floor
• To facilitate and manage the planned/unplanned maintenance and servicing of the fleet as well as MOT preparation and submission
• To be fully conversant with workshop Health and Safety regulations
The successful candidate must demonstrable competence of managing; budgets, planned preventative maintenance, have a clear Health and Safety knowledge and be able to mange a team of people, they must also have an understanding of DVSA and Traffic Commissioner requirements.
You will have a ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible approach to work. A full driving licence is also required, and a PCV licence would be advantageous but not essential.
