ReuMilla Walker are currently recruiting a Kent based Practice Manager for a well respected and multi-site firm of chartered accountants with offices across the South East .
Our client provides a wide range of expert financial, tax and business advice to a diverse client base, and focuses on advising owner-managed businesses in a variety of sectors.

You will be responsible for:
• Managing a large and varied portfolio of general commercial clients for a number of partners.
• Being responsible for and overseeing all of the services delivered to each and every client.
• A number of one-off, special assignments.
• Tendering and pitching for new business and growing your portfolio of clients.
• Working directly with partners within the Business advisory group, becoming part of the team which provides a wide range of audit, accounting, corporate finance and tax services to clients.
• Providing outstanding service in a professional and efficient manner, tailored to give the client the benefit of exceptional advice and maximum added value.
The ideal Candidate:
• Successful applicants will be outgoing and resilient self-starters, highly driven, and hold aspirations of becoming a partner.
• They must have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• You will require an extremely high level of ability, flexibility and commitment.
• The individual should be able to demonstrate marketing skills and an interest in generating new business.
• Candidates should be self-motivated, display a positive approach to work and have the ability to get things done.
• They should possess the confidence and professionalism to establish credibility at all levels.
• They must be commercially minded and have a clear perception of client requirements, with the ability to ensure that service is delivered at the highest standard.
Experience and Qualifications:
• ACA/ACCA Qualified.
• Hold recent and relevant experience as an effective manager and/or senior manager.
• Applicants must be educated to degree level.
• Hold specified experience of managing a large client portfolio.
• Recent exposure to one off special assignments and complicated technical areas including an understanding of the tax issues affecting companies and entrepreneurs and exposure to managing complex international audits.
• Excellent IT skills, to include Excel, Viztopia and Caseware capabilities.
Working Hours: 40 Hours + considerable overtime (25 days annual leave)
