Arriva is part of the Deutsche Bahn group, a leading world-wide provider of transport and logistics services. In the UK, Arriva employs around 17,000 people and runs over 7,000 buses. This is your chance to join our 1700-strong Southern Counties team as a Business to Business Manager.
In this exciting new role, you’ll grow new revenue streams by working with businesses, including schools and colleges, in the west Kent, Surrey and Essex area to help encourage bus usage. You will work with an established team to identify potential customers, you’ll help us to develop and introduce travel schemes and other user loyalty programmes. The focus will be on developing new opportunities, providing robust business cases and managing relationships with clients.
With a solid background in sales (ideally Business to Business), you’ll be a competent communicator, negotiator and influencer. You’ll combine your expertise with considerable self-motivation and the drive to achieve targets. What’s more, being a natural project manager, you’re analytical, organised and a good problem solver. Very team-orientated, you also possess sound IT skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
