Personal Assistant (social care)
Near Tonbridge, Kent
Supporting people on the autistic spectrum is rarely what you would expect. Especially when the people we support struggle to make sense of the world around them and sometimes display challenging behaviour.
We are looking for enthusiastic and positive people to join our team, to help make sure our 5 tenants have the best choices and opportunities available to them.
You could make a real difference to someone’s life!
You will receive training in positive behaviour support and we’ll put you on to QCF and Positive Behaviour support qualification training. In return you’ll be expected to be flexible, energetic and willing to learn and grow your skills. Physical fitness is an essential for this job and although previous experience might be an advantage it’s not essential.
The pay is: £8.38 per hour plus sleep in allowance of £35 per night. Waking night hours are paid at time and a third. It’s a 37 hour basic week but there are opportunities to pick up more hours. 24 hour working is required which means you will need to work day shifts and waking night shifts.
