The Kent Autistic Trust is a very well respected specialist provider of services for adults with autism. It is an innovative charity providing day and living support services, day activity services and family support. The Trust encourages maximum independence, choice and use of community resources, within a supportive environment. The Trust supports 80 people across 15 sites across Kent.
We are currently recruiting for:
Role: Deputy Programme coordinator
Location: Lordswood, Chatham
Salary range: £17,004 to £18,204 p.a
Hours: 37.5
Shift: Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm
The role will be at our day centre in Lordswood, Chatham supporting adults with Autism. You will provide support within the team ensuring that the people we support achieve a full, meaningful and active life by following a person centred plan within the community.
Experience Required/Desirable:
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults)
• That you hold a clean driving licence (for at least two years) as you may be required to drive
• Experience and or knowledge of epilepsy
• Experience of working within the field of services for adults with special needs
• A willingness to participate in a continuous development of the service and an ambition to ensure that people are supported to achieve their aspirations within the community.
