Role: Procurement Analyst
Location: Innovation Centre Medway, Chatham, ME5 9FD
Report to: Operations Director
Salary: £18k to £22k per annum
Working Hours: 8am to 5pm

Tribeca Technology was founded in 2006 by Mark Instance. Mark was global Head of IT for a Hedge Fund with offices around the world. Frustrated by a lack of affordable and high quality outsourcing options he decided to form his own company to provide support for the financial services industry, intent on supplying an outstanding level of service at affordable prices.

The Technical bit:
The successful candidate needs to have the following experience, qualities and knowledge:
• Excellent customer service skills
• At least 2 years’ experience in a purchasing/buyers role
• Experience working within the IT industry is preferred
• Strong team skills with an ability to work under own initiative
• Exceptional communication skills
• Patience

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will join our growing team and will be responsible for:

• You will be responsible for dealing with all our suppliers
• Ensure that you achieve the best prices possible
• Researching new suppliers
• Producing quotations for our clients based on prices gathered from multiple suppliers
• Responsible for purchasing of good for use in house
• Generating monthly reports for management team
• Place all orders within agreed timescales
• Enter all purchasing requests into in-house purchase order system
• Professional and confident personality
• Liaising with the accounts department to ensure invoices are raised in appropriate time scales
• Order Management – ensure the orders placed are received by our clients
• Managing the goods in process
