£10 per hour - 7.5 TONNE (CAT C1) DRIVERS NEEDED!
The Best Connection is one of the UK’s leading providers of flexible workforce solutions to the logistics and distribution sector. Working in partnership with our client, WorldStores, a leader in online retail, we are looking to recruit 33 professional 7.5t (Cat C1) drivers.

Job Outline:
We are looking for responsible, customer focused delivery drivers to join our clients’ in-house distribution network to deliver our vast range of Home & Garden products to their customers. Being on the front line of the business you will be responsible for ensuring that their customers receive their goods in a timely and friendly manner. Initially on a temporary basis of 18 weeks, it is highly likely that the role will turn permanent.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive organisation working at their new flag ship Southern Distribution Centre in Dartford.

Responsibilities:

• As part of a 2 person team, you will deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses using a 7.5 tonne lorry.
• As this is a seven day a week operation, you will be required to work a five from seven shift pattern which will include weekends.
• Follow route and time schedule in an efficient and safe manner
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience of working as a multi-drop driver, with a large emphasis on Customer Service Excellence
• A strong Customer Service ethic who approaches their role with energy and enthusiasm
• Valid relevant driving license
• Good driving record with clean license
• Physically able to handle large items for delivery
