VEKA Recycling based in Swanscombe is an industry leader in recycling ‘end of life’ PVC-U windows. We are currently recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team, working a continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) days and nights.
Main responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
Candidate skills:
- Good diagnostic and problem solving skills
- City & Guilds level 2 & 3 certificate and/or BTEC ONC/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience with heavy plant and machinery
- Good electrical and mechanical background
