The Opportunity
To work in a broad ranging accounts role for a busy Accountancy practice
The Company
This is a well-established accountancy firm run by qualified professionals. The firm is part of a larger accountancy network and as such, benefits from excellent marketing, business development and technical support.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and submitting client payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring that all deadlines are met and client reports sent. The role will also involve bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and filing, and the management of CIS for clients. By its nature, the role will involve regular liaison with other staff, clients and HMRC. Knowledge of personal tax would be beneficial.
The Candidate
You will have gained your experience working within accountancy practice and be confident in dealing with clients and other parties. Qualification to AAT Level 4 would be preferred. This role requires accuracy and the ability to multi-task.
