We are currently looking for a Systems Consultant to join the team. Reporting to the Senior IT Project Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the application lifecycle from project inception, elaboration and build through to business transition and application continuity within a very competitive and fast changing commercial environment.
The Systems Consultant works within the Application Operations, Development or Datawarehouse teams of Travel IT. These teams are responsible for application development, change, maintenance and support, of systems, which including the operational data warehouse and reporting applications. Individuals or teams will work with other areas of Group IT when developing or supporting solutions that span different areas.

The focus of the job role is on the end-to-end technical delivery of Travel related IT change programmes, projects and post implementation support of an applications and its their associated data, ensuring data integrity is maintained across the Group and required Business service levels achieved.

The Systems Consultants will be directly be engaged with some or all areas of activity depending upon their level of competency. Training will be provided to help expand individuals competency where required. This role encompasses a variety of skills from analysis, design, development, build, testing, implementation, project management and support throughout the application life cycle.

The role also encompasses the post implementation support of applications.

You’ll need to be numerate, organised and have first-rate communication and team working skills along with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
