Account Manager
We are looking for a Strong and Experienced Account Manager to work for a well-established solutions company based in Ashford Kent, to act as an interface between clients and the company, providing a consistently high standard of service.
**This is not a sales role but a true account management role where attention to detail and building relationships with clients is crucial, there is scope to upsell and cross sell but the FOCUS is client account management and retention.
All About The role

To be involved in client campaign planning and initiate/manage internal activities to meet
these requirements. (Advise clients on best methods and solutions)

Receive client instructions and implement their requirements using the resources available,
ensuring the correct procedures are followed at all times.

Liaise with clients on an ongoing basis and manage expectations where appropriate.

Analyse and interpret standard client management information and make
Recommendations where necessary.

Initiate bespoke reporting as appropriate.

Deliver levels of service which meets the needs of clients and customers that in turn
increases business opportunities.

Regularly review and monitor client SLA’s to ensure that service levels are being met.
Report findings to Department Managers.

Arrange and manage client meetings (on & off site) to include management presentations
where appropriate.

Determine the potential for development of a group of existing client contracts and
implement the appropriate strategies to profitably realise this potential.

Actively explore with clients the benefits to be gained from the users

Participate in the preparation and definition of new business proposals with front-line
responsibility for providing cost estimates and solutions.

Advise on business process improvement.
To maximise the long term profit and growth for the company
Be mindful of business costs and make recommendations in respect of budget performance
improvements.

Keep abreast of competitors activity and other developments in the marketplace and
feedback to department manager where appropriate.

Work within business compliancy requirements

All About you

• Excellent Communicator (both verbal and written) with the ability to adapt styles based on audience/situation.

• Experience of managing and developing relationship with customers and/or suppliers (Would suit a sales account manager who no longer wants to work to sales targets)

• Computer literate with an aptitude for using IT to maximum benefit.

• Sound negotiating/persuasive skills.

• Highly professional personal presentation.

• Seeks and responds positively to challenges.

• Tenacious and logical approach to problem solving.

• A conscientious ‘supplier’ to clients/customers.

• Flexible – ability to work in a constantly changing and challenging environment

• Enjoys own responsibilities and tight deadlines to work towards

• Clean Driving licence
