OFP Timber framed Homes Ltd is a family run business in the construction industry based in Sandwich, turning over around £3.5 million. There are 11 employees in the office and 30 in the factory. In the next year we will be vacating our current premises, and building a new factory and offices at Discovery Park also in Sandwich.

The term of the contract is currently 14 months from 8th June to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of a permanent position due to the company expansion.
We are looking for a well presented young professional to represent our front of house on reception. Applicants should be friendly and confident, looking to become part of our close team.
Duties will include: Answering calls from clients, suppliers and internal staff. Taking accurate messages, sometimes of high importance and greeting visitors. General administration such as filing and handling the post. We are looking for a hardworking candidate with a good work ethic who is confident in learning new processes and deal with people and professionals of all levels.
The candidate will be responsible for the bank reconciliation, purchase ledger and all payroll and HR activities of the business so experience and knowledge of Sage 50 software is essential. Due to the sensitivity of the information, discretion and confidentiality is key in this role. On a weekly basis the candidate will report to the directors which suppliers require payment and action those agreed.
A positive, proactive approach is necessary in this position. The office administrator should influence and expedite the smooth running of the office and the flow of communication into and around the office. Acting in a professional manner at all times, an appropriate level of presentation is essential and the emphasis should be in supporting the office activities at all times, ensuring high levels of support to fellow staff.

This is a very varied role supporting the whole business in aspects such as health and safety, marketing, supplier and customer relations, general admin, ordering of office supplies, company clothing, tea and coffee and the maintenance of office machinery. There will also be some considerable support required to ensure the smooth transition to the new premises.
