A Business Analyst is required on a part time basis for my client, a manufacturing organisation based in Medway.
Drawing on both a technical understanding of accountancy and of IT systems and processes, this role will seek to drive business performance forward through the development of reporting systems and MI.
To support, and drive where appropriate, continuous process improvements by re-designing processes and identifying best practice within the ERP and MI environments
Take part in implementing and monitoring department policies and procedures to enable efficient working routines
Continuously review current business needs through involvement in strategic projects
Support business decisions and tasks by the building of Management Information reports
The preferred candidate will have held senior analytical roles in the past and ideally have had exposure to a manufacturing environment. A formal accountancy qualification would be a distinct advantage. Strong, advanced IT skills with the ability to write macros in Microsoft Excel is essential.
