Connect2Kent are looking for a full time temporary Project Officer to work in Maidstone.

Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of this post is to manage, and provide support on a range of specific project initiatives within a multi-agency context. To implement and monitor specific projects.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Undertake project work, in conjunction with other members of the Business Unit, by defining project requirements, objectives, methodologies, drawing up protocols and contract specifications, ensuring the development of appropriate systems and processes in order to ensure effective outcomes.

2. Support the Board and its sub groups by gathering and organising a range of information from a variety of sources in order to meet project objectives and timescales.

3. Maintain accurate, reliable, relevant, timely, complete and valid data on behalf of the Board as part of specific project development.

4. Collate data and information and present accurately in an appropriate format as required.

5. Brief and advise staff at all levels, including senior managers and Members, on project progress: delivering presentations; providing written reports; communicating supporting information as required, to ensure partners are fully informed at each stage of the project.

6. Provide administrative support for sub groups as required, including booking meetings, collating papers, providing agenda’s, taking minutes and actions, circulating information to attendees’ pre and post meeting.

7. Establish and maintain links with statutory and voluntary agencies, staff from other projects, employers, partner agencies and other local authorities, sharing best practice in order to ensure an effective co-ordinated approach.

8. Support the Board and the Quality and Effectiveness Group in planning and undertaking multi-agency audits by providing exceptional administrative and project support.

A Basic disclosure will be required for this role, payable by yourself at a cost of £25.

The successful candidate will be required to register at our office in Kings Hill, West Malling and will need to complete an online skills test prior to registration.
