Canterbury Festival is an international arts festival, revolving around two hectic but brilliant weeks each October. We are looking for an established financial professional to run our finances, business affairs and premises management.
This Finance & Business Manager role reports to the Festival Director, and plays a key part in all of our financial, governance and business activities.
This is a hands-on role, including everything from bookkeeping through to audit and statutory reporting. It’s a chance to bring everything you’ve ever learned about strong financial management into a unique, friendly and buzzing environment. You don’t have to have an arts background; as long as you know financial management inside out and you’ve got an organised, methodical and confident approach to work, then we’d love to hear from you.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 full-time equivalent (depending on experience and qualifications) + contributory pension
Terms: Full-time, two year renewable contract. Flexible working arrangements may be considered. Please see page 4 of the Job Description (available on our website) for a full summary of terms.
The ideal start date for this role would be no later than 1 July 2015.
Closing date: 5pm Monday 27 April 2015
Interviews: Wednesday 20 May 2015
How to apply: Application form, CV and cover letter. The application form and further particulars are available on the Canterbury Festival website: http://www.canterburyfestival.co.uk/get-involved/vacancies.aspx
