Keel Toys are a leading designer and importer of quality soft toys. Due to promotion, we are now looking to fill the following vacancy to enhance our Despatch team. This position would suit an accurate person wishing to join a fast paced team within a busy sales office.
The job will involve the processing of orders from initial input, booking in deliveries with customers by telephone or e-mail (both in UK and overseas), consigning labels and creating picking lists in order to despatch, right through to invoicing and taking responsibility for the filing. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential, and the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines is a must. The successful candidate must also be able to communicate effectively at all levels, enjoy teamwork and be committed to providing a first class service to our customers.

Hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with half an hour for lunch, 20 days holiday per year.

Job Description as below;

• Collect orders from fax machines / order tray’s and input, scan, match up and process with regard to urgency.
• Process all orders including UK, Irish and overseas.
• Send confirmation of orders to customers.
• Advise customer of delivery information.
• Update addresses and other customer information including prices.
• Print the warehouse manifest’s daily.
• Produce consignment labels for the warehouse
• Order and keep stock of consignment labels.
• Invoice orders after despatch.
• Liase with carriers to arrange collections and obtain proof of delivery.
• Manage an efficient filing system.
• Liase with internal departments to ensure smooth progress of orders.
• Assist in telephone enquiries and orders within the sales office
• Work closely with all members of staff
• Carry out any other duties and tasks given by Management that are deemed appropriate.
