SMC in Gravesend are looking for an experienced Parts Warehouse Picker to work within our busy Parts Department.
As a dedicated and key member of our parts team you will be based in our Parts Centre reporting to the Parts Manager. The job holder will need to be able to work unsupervised selecting parts orders and invoicing them to customers. You will need to display an accurate ability with numbers, meet tight deadlines and be able to work tidily, part of your duties will also include checking off and putting away of incoming stock orders from manufacturers. This is a physical role with some lifting involved.
Previous experience is not required as full on the job training will be given, however experience with computerised invoicing would be an advantage.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm and alternate Saturdays 8.00 am to 1.00 pm.
Salary will be based on minimum wage and will be dependant on age.
