We are currently looking for 2 mobile community support workers to join our team. These roles will require travel, and can be on a salaried or guaranteed hour basis, with travel time paid, to suit individual requirements. Candidates should have a Level 3 in Health & social care, or be willing to undertake one within a specific period of time after appointment.

Job role:
These mobile support workers are key back up roles to the existing community care teams, to provide support within the Canterbury villages (Bridge, Barham) and Sandwich areas when needed. Travel is a key part of the role, and so a company car is provided for use in the role.

Candidates should be keen to support and work with vulnerable adults in the community for the following Client base - Mental Health, Dementia, Long Term Medical Conditions, Learning Disabilities and Physical Health Problems, with their daily activities to include personal care, medication ,shopping, choices and decisions, social inclusion and social support.

Person Specification:
•QCF/NVQ level 2.
•Experience or capacity to understand and take account of the needs and difficulties of people who experience physical and mental health problems.
•Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to positively engage clients
•Willingness to work flexible hours to include weekends.
