My client based in West Kent is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance team. In this role you will take responsibility for processing authorised invoices against correct agreements, amending accruals and work sheets where appropriate whilst meeting month end deadlines.
Additional duties will include:
-Responsibility for updating Monthly Manual Accruals for trade spend within group deadlines
-Monthly analysis and allocation of unassigned trade spend costs within month end deadlines
-Assisting with matching and clearing customer/vendor accounts
-Liaison with credit controllers and management accountant to ensure trade spend related costs are captured accurately and on time
-Preparation of Information for Monthly Sales Meeting and analysis of accounts, accruals and trade spend events
To be considered for this role you will be Immediately Available. The ideal candidate for this role will possess experience within an accounts department with a firm understanding of accruals and prepayments. You must also have strong knowledge of Excel (pivots and lookups).
