Early Help Worker

We are currently seeking to recruit temporary Early Help Workers to work in a children's centre based Swanley. Experience of working within a nursery/early years setting is required.
The candidate must hold a strong Level 2 or 3 Diploma/NVQ in Childcare (Early Years Educator) or equivalent. The position is subject to an enhanced DBS at a cost of £54, and 2 years worth of referencing.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to engage and involve children, parents and carers
- Use own initiative and manage own time
- Ability to develop creative and stimulating activities
- Good organisational skills, observation and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills
Knowledge:
- Early Years Foundation Stage
- Key theories and developments around child learning
- Understanding of Ofsted Inspection Framework
- Health and Safety requirements
- Kent Safeguarding procedures
- Data Protection and confidentiality issues
