The role:
As our clients Credit Controller, you will be organised and confident with superb customer service, analytical and credit control skills. This excellent opportunity, available due to the business growth of our client, is an excellent opportunity for you to become a key member of this professional accounts team. This is a hands on role where you will use your skill and experience to ensure that customers pay their account in a timely manner by using tact and diplomacy and your natural assertiveness where applicable!
The Client:
Based in Ramsgate, this commercial service provider has seen healthy growth since its inception in the mid 90’s. They are constantly upgrading their offering, investing in state of the art equipment, transportation and methodologies to ensure that they stay well ahead of the competition. This client offers value for money whilst providing an exceptionally high level of customer service. The successful candidate will enjoy pleasant surroundings, a friendly yet professional working environment and the opportunity to become part of this forward thinking and dynamic organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Contact clients and ensure payment of outstanding invoices
• Resolve issues for clients, providing copy invoices, proof of delivery and credit notes as applicable
• Report to management any outstanding issues and inform as soon as appropriate of potential debtor issues
• Utilise finance systems and software is it Sage in order to progress, analyse and resolve payment delays
Education and Experience:
Due to the nature of the role you will ideally:
• Have experience of working in credit control
• Be familiar with Sage line 50 software
• Be educated to ‘A’ Level or equivalent, including Maths and English
• Due to location applicants will need access to their own transport.
