Rendrive logistics Yard Manager

Due to the continued expansion of our logistics transhipment operation, we require a logistics yard manager with construction related experience. The position is full time and permanent after completing trial period. The ability to communicate clearly and understand instructions is essential. you will report directly to the MD.

The Role:

You will ensure that The Rendrive construction logistics facility is run effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a team of operatives transhipping construction material to major London projects. You should be comfortable in dealing with clients and be familiar with construction site protocols. A hand’s on approach with the ability to lead by example is essential. This position would be ideal for somebody wanting to be part of a growing successful company that rewards people who add value to the business.

The Person:

You must be committed to the concept of continuous improvement and be able to fully utilise resources to manage and improve the facility and services we provide to the industry. You must be literate, numerate and be able to clearly communicate. You must be a forklift driver preferably certificated up to 7 tonne capacity. Previous experience in a similar environment would be a definite advantage as would knowledge of H+S safe systems of work and risk assessments. On-going training and support will be provided to support your career development in line with our business needs.
