Pro-Link Europe Limited was established in 1988 providing recruitment services both contract and permanent, specialising in construction and engineering. We are currently looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our friendly team in Sidcup.

The Trainee Recruitment consultant will be expected to assist in attracting candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a wide range of approved media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. You will assist in screening candidates, interview them, do background checks and finally match them to their clients.

The role of a trainee recruitment consultant is very sales orientated, although it also involves helping individuals and organisations.

The trainee recruitment consultant will be responsible for assisting in administration and recording contractors time sheet/invoices

A trainee recruitment consultant’s role is diverse and involves:
• Assisting in business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies
• Working towards targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated
• Using candidate databases to find the right person for the clients vacancy; once selected all correspondence/telephone conversations should be recorded on candidates record and where possible attach to the candidates record
• Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates
• Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
• Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
• On successful placements, ensure that all relevant information is given to the client in order for them to make an offer
