A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Field Operations and Welfare manager to join our Operations Department.
You will be directly responsible for the Field Operations/Welfare Department, Duty Officers, customer health and safety, staff business/insurance repatriation flights, significant incidents, monitoring Foreign and Commonwealth Office travel advice and other information sources for incidents that might bear on holiday and cruise operations and the co-ordination of shore side cruise movements.
The role includes management responsibilities such as preparing and submitting of business plans, budgets and reports to the board monthly. Interviewing and engaging new staff members, conducting staff performance reviews, developing training programs and coaching for staff members as well as ad-hoc projects.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and will be expected to motivate, mentor and develop their team. You would also have knowledge of health and safety in a travel context. Previous travel operations experience is an advantage.
You will work within a dynamic, fast-moving and deadline-driven environment, so sound organisational skills and the ability to multi task are essential. If the above sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
