European Sales Executive
Summary
• Responsible for generating growth from new and existing customers, at appropriate financial margins
• Working with our Import Administrator to ensure our customer commitments are fulfilled.
• Develop new products for the European market.
The Company
The company are a leading international manufacturing and distribution company. They are investing heavily in new equipment with £2m growth plans, as well as investing in their staff with a budget towards training and development.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
• To develop a country specific growth strategies by brand by researching, identifying and closing deals with distributors or direct sales to major retailers.
• To define customer requirements for new products and services
• Responsible for the compilation of sales and marketing plans and growth strategies
• Participation at trade shows
• To create brand awareness by arranging appropriate PR
• To visit customers and present our business in a professional manner to realise sales
• To keep up-to-date with market developments and strengthen our customer relationships
• To monitor competitor activity
• To maintain and update customer records on the system
• To represent the customer internally to ensure all delivery commitments are achieved
Experience
• Sales experience in to European markets
• B2B sales track record
• Knowledge of distribution or retail sector
• Additional languages to English would be advantageous but not essential
People Traits
• Base intellect to effectively be trained as a platform to develop within the organisation
• Sense of urgency
• Positive attitude, motivated to help business
• Who raise and resolve problems
• Who act professionally and do the right thing
• Who make the extra effort to complete a task and not leave it half-finished for someone else to complete
• Disciplined and organised
• Strong eye for detail with a good commercial acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills to lead and deliver improvements
Please note the preference is to be office based but they are also open to individuals working remotely a few days a week.
