We are recruiting for an efficient Operations Administrator based at our Head Office in Greenhithe to help with day to day office administration.

The position has become available due to company restructuring, identifying the need for an Operations Administrator, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The candidate must have previous experience working in a transport or fleet admin role as they will be involved with the day to day admin of a busy fleet department as well as all other departments when required. Candidates able to start ASAP will be preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities for this role:
• Assisting all departments throughout the business with the day to day admin
• Arranging vehicle tax, MOT and services of vehicles
• Obtaining estimates for vehicle repairs
• General filing/archiving also electronically
• Maintaining the internal purchase order and fleet management system
• Correspondence by letter, email and fax
• Data input to internal spreadsheets and systems
• Shredding confidential information
• Maintaining staff personnel files and training records
• Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post, use of franking machine
• Occasional minutes of meetings when necessary
• Maintain clean and tidy office environment

Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required for other departments.


Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications
• Available to start ASAP
• C or above in English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
• Good written and oral communication
• Experience in office admin for one or more departments
• Strong organisation skills
• Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
• Work with discretion at all times
• Reliable and punctual
• Self motivated
• Willing to help and ‘muck in’ with all departments


Hours are 9am – 4:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch. (Lunch provided)

£13,000 – £16,000 depending on experience

This position is subject to a 3 month probationary period.
