Interactive Red is a fast growing full service digital agency based in the centre of Canterbury with additional satellite offices in Brighton and London.

We design, build and maintain a wide range of websites ranging from 'brochure sites' to bespoke web applications as well as providing complementary services such as web hosting and search marketing.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you will have at least 3 years’ agency experience working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment developing a variety of commercial projects in PHP/MySQL with a strong understanding of HTML and CSS particularly Bootstrap 3.

You will have no fear in debugging the most complex if JavaScript problems and will approach each project with enthusiasm while interacting collaboratively with your peers.

You take pride in being the "go-to" person when there are questions from less experienced developers about what to do next and you will be confident enough to SSH into a Linux server and move files around on a production environment knowing that you won't be taking down a client website or deleting critical files.


KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Educated to degree level in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in PHP and MVC frameworks
• Must know enough about GIT to know when a rebase is called for
• Knowledge of MySQL and Apache (Nginx would be an advantage)
• Strong Javascript abilities (enough to debug jQuery)
• Excellent attention to detail and neatness in coding
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Bootstrap 3 experience
