ifs University College, a dynamic not-for-profit higher education provider with taught degree awarding powers, are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within the Higher Education Assessment and Curriculum Services team
The main responsibilities are to provide strong managerial support to the Assessment and Curriculum Officers to ensure that all assessments within ifs’ Undergraduate Programmes remit are delivered on-time, to a high standard at all times. There will be a requirement to take ownership of a suite of modules assessments, working closely with examining personnel
There will be a requirement for you to manage syllabus production processes, working with subject specialists on the production of assessment material at Undergraduate Level. You will be checking, proof-reading and signing off question papers, assignments and mark schemes in collaboration with subject specialists, as well as managing examiners to ensure that assessments are accurately marked and graded.
You will need to be an enthusiastic team player who is self-motivated and confident. You will be a graduate, ideally with experience and knowledge of assessment in an FE or HE environment. A keen problem solver with meticulous accuracy, you’ll have a proven ability to manage your workload when under pressure to meet multiple deadlines.
This role is a significant opportunity for an individual who wishes to develop their career in Higher Education.
