The Opportunity
To take over and advance your own client portfolio as part of a highly successful and growing practice of Chartered Accountants. The practice is experiencing marked growth with clients in the legal sector and this role will continue with the development of this valuable niche.
The Company
The Partners and Staff of this firm are highly qualified and motivated to achieve an exceptional level of customer satisfaction. Where possible, they promote internally to Manager and Partner level positions, enabling staff to see clear career paths. They are proactive within the local business and charitable sectors.
The Role
Your portfolio will comprise of a variety of clients, but with an emphasis on those from the legal sector. The role will include preparing statutory accounts, completing Accountants Reports for the SRA and offering specific accounting and compliance advice to your clients.
The Candidate
You will need to be ACA/ ACCA qualified, have current experience of working within either an Accountancy Practice, or a Legal Services firm. Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules would be required, and you should have an interest in developing this particular area. An awareness of current tax issues and general accounting compliance would be expected.
The Journey
The firm will run a process of two interviews in order to give you the opportunity to meet staff, understand the role and appreciate the culture. Once you join the firm, you will have a comprehensive induction before taking over your portfolio. Full support will be given by the Partners and Managers, and a comprehensive CPD programme will enable you to remain technically aware. You can choose whether you want to remain at this level in the firm, or whether you want to take on more responsibility.
