Part Time Recreation Assistants
Based at the Stour Centre
£6.50 per hour
Various shifts available


We are looking to appoint part time Recreation Assistants to fill various contracted shifts on a 52 week and a 39 week basis, which includes early mornings, evenings and weekends. All positions are available with immediate effect.
39 week shifts (term time only)
Mon 9am – 12.15pm & 4.30pm – 7.30pm
Tues 9.30am – 12, 4pm – 7pm and 5pm – 7pm
Weds 9.30am – 11.30am, 4.30pm – 8.30pm and 4.30pm – 7.30pm
Thurs 9.30am – 12.30pm
Fri 4.30pm – 7.30pm

52 week shifts
Mon 5.30pm – 8.30pm and 4.30pm – 10.30pm
Weds 5.30pm – 9.30pm
Thurs 3.30pm – 7.15pm
Sat 9am – 4pm, 9am – 6pm and 9.30pm – 3.30pm
Sun 9am – 1pm, 8am – 3pm, 10am – 4pm, 9am – 3.30pm, 9am – 4pm and 3pm – 9.30pm

We are looking for bright and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. You must be adaptable, enjoy working with the public and have a real appreciation of the importance of customer care.
You must have an interest in sports and leisure to assist the operations section in the smooth running of the centre. Your duties will include setting up and dismantling equipment, lifeguard supervision, customer care and housekeeping.

The applicant will already hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
